Netvibes for Enterprise

I was first alerted to Netvibes about a year ago while reading J.P.’s blog. JP mentioned about the potential of the Netvibes being a key Enterprise application, serving as the dasboard for corporate employees. At that time, when I review the application and its capability at that time, I didn’t think much of it.

Today, I revisited the site again to check out the progress. I have to say that I am impressed with what they have done so far. Now, I see the far-sighted vision that JP had about Netvibes. I am excited about the possibility of this platform. If enterprise software maker like Serena Software, Intalio, SAP, Oracle and HP would work with Netvibes and produce some widgets targeting enterprise use, I can definitely see a new bar raised in the area of BPM, BI, BTO, CRM . . etc. All, if not most knowledge-centric professional would have use for a enterprise-version of Netvibes.
